Poem Daisy dreaming

Daisy dreaming

Buttercup quiet gathers my soul.

Where did I put my worries?

Daisy dreaming makes me feel whole.

Beneath my tree unhurried.

Imperial vermilion poppy petals pine for sun.

Bees bustle and hover.

In this moment, I am the only one.

Not a care. Not a bother.

The tremendous tree leaves me breathless.

Its branches embrace my spirit.

As I consider how I am blessed,

I nest, bathed in amber twilight.
